The Empty House Studios

Established in the 2012 by George Mason University Arts Management classmates Sarah Coffin, Christine Bauer, and Henri Bielawski, The Empty House Studios (THES) began hosting weekly communal creative activities, some theme-based, others free-form. The only requisite was for people to be open to new experiences. The nurturing environment cultivated by TEHS became a conduit for creativity in all forms, and those in attendance could feel the palpable energy filling the rooms. Many first-timers returned again as regulars, and each subsequent gathering presented an opportunity for someone new to join and connect.
